Hi Sonia, just want to say a massive thank you to yourself and the team at Wedding Italy for helping with our wedding.

I was very reluctant at first getting married abroad with hesitations regarding the paperwork and not seeing the venue until shortly before the big day. After being persuaded by my beautiful wife, we chose Wedding Italy for the customisation they provide after finding other companies would only use set locations and venues.

We were provided with a list of venues in the area of Italy where we wished to be wed and decided on a 12th century castle in the lovely town of Moneglia. With the help of Sonia and a family member, a location for the reception was found and we were ready to travel over. My only concern before leaving for Italy being we only had 3 photos and little information on the wedding venue.

After a very long drive, we arrived in Moneglia and were delighted with what we saw. The town was beautiful, the venue for the reception had a fantastic view and the castle looked stunning overlooking the bay. A couple of days later we were met by the very helpful Mr Alessandro at the town hall to complete the declaration and to show us around the venue assisting with planning the transport for the day.

On the day of the wedding, things could not have gone smoother. A quick swim in the morning before getting ready and transporting everyone to the venue with flowers waiting and stunning weather. The assistant on the day, Loredana, accommodated all our requests including Nicola’s sister singing during the ceremony, greatly enjoyed by the town Mayor. Then off to the reception for some fantastic food finishing a day that will never be forgotten.

There was some slight confusion regarding the wedding certificate resulting in us leaving Italy without it, but Sonia has been more than helpful sorting out delivery. I highly recommend her and the team for what they have done resulting in several people saying it was the best wedding they have ever been to.
