◙ Barbara Battista
Barbara has a university degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures. She has been planning weddings since 2001, and she enjoys her work extremely! She feels that personal contact helps the cooperation towards a better result, and for this reason meeting people and speaking with them is her favourite approach to this work. Her calm and positive attitude makes her perfect in handling unforeseen events and last minute issues. Barbara loves the sea, reading and she truly adores cats...she has five at home!! She loves travelling and has travelled so many countries – USA, Spain, England, Ireland, Greece, South Africa...travelling is her way to carry out her quest in life! She is married with Pablo Romano and the wedding was held in a beautiful Italian castle with 125 happy friends: if you wish a wedding in a castle, she knows how to organize it!
◙ Sonia Gallina
Sonia is the executive senior wedding planner specialized in high-end exclusive events. She is one of the most experienced wedding planners in Italy as she started to plan destination weddings in Italy in late 90's and after many years her enthusiasm and love for the job are still at the maximum levels. She is both precise and exuberant. She loves singing and playing the guitar and she is the main vocalist in a pop band. She had lived in England and Germany and speaks English and German fluently. Her goal is to make people happy because happiness is the main purpose on everyone's wedding day. “Everyone has to feel SPECIAL, because a wedding is a unique, special and sweet moment for everyone”: this is what she loves to repeat … always keeping a smile on her face!
◙ Martina "TINA" Gloazzo
Tina joined our team in 2003. She is a senior wedding and travel consultant thanks to the numerous and qualifying testimonials and references she has obtained in the past months! She has lived in London and speaks fluent English: she is the British of the team. She plays the clarinet and enjoys the orchestra of her own town. She also loves travelling and listening to music. She obtained a degree in foreign languages correspondance in 2002. Tina, loves her job as a wedding planner and enjoys the direct contact with people coming from abroad. She is very precise, motivated and enthusiastic.
◙ Helga Maria Marcks
Helga Marcks is our wedding planner, coordinator and tour guide based in Tuscany and runs our Tuscan office in Strada in Chianti. She has been living near Florence in the beautiful Chianti area for almost 30 years now and knows all about this wonderful region of Italy which she believes to be her country on a previous life! Her passion is history and art, so don't hesitate to ask her about it when you'll meet her as your planner and coordinator! Helga joined our team in 2003 and since then she's enjoying her job to assist spouses during the happiest days of their lives. In 1979, after her university studies in Germany, she founded a private language school in Florence which nowadays is the representative of the Goethe-Institute in Tuscany. Later she worked as a translator, interpreter and even as author of several books published in Italy and Germany. One of the main books she wrote is about Leonardo Da Vinci and his interesting life.
◙ Ayesha Ripa
Ayesha was born in Switzerland with German mother and Italian father for this reason she speaks fluently Italian, German, English and French. She is graduated from the "meeting and event school" in Switzerland and has worked for several years in the event organization of some of the most exclusive 5* hotels of Zurich including the Renaissance and Hilton. At the Hilton she felt in love with her actual Italian fiancé and after 3 years they decided to move back to his family in Italy. She is very talented, fashionable and enthusiastic person who likes to join a team and to work on projects. Her very precise and organized attitude will make you feel "n very good hands" during the planning stages of your wedding!
◙ Yasuko Okamoto
Yasuko joined our team in 2004 and is responsible for the firm's marketing strategies for Asian markets. She has extensive international business management experience including Head of Credit Portfolio for Asia Pacific at JP Morgan. She is an accomplished investment banker as exemplified as a recipient of the ‘Financial Risk Manager of the Year' by Asia Risk Magazine. Yasuko is active in contributing to the international relations—she was a senior staff member of the US-Japan government-private sector commission created by President Bush and Prime Minister Koizumi, where business leaders advised both governments for the sustainable economic growths; she is also a fellow of the US-Japan Leadership Program. Yasuko has lived and worked in New York, Boston, Tokyo and Hong Kong, and has travelled over 20 countries. She is fluent in English, Japanese and Italian, and working knowledge of French and Chinese. Since Italy is her favourite country, she is happy to be living here now, helping couples to realize their dream weddings and introducing rich Italian culture (including food and wine!) that she adores to as many people as possible.
◙ Michela Del Forno
Michela, joined our team in 2002, is our Research Manager and luxury Venice wedding planner. She comes from a long experience in tourism and event management working in Canada, London and Italy. After planning international events and weddings doing all of the consulting, event design, planning, and coordinating, she now handles the marketing and program development. Michela attended school in tourism and graduated from Ca' Foscari University in Venice with a bachelor's decree in foreign languages. She speaks English, Spanish and Italian fluently plus some French and German. She has travelled extensively throughout Europe, Canada, and North America. She loves music and photography and has a passion for skiing and running. In 2003 she ran the New York marathon. ◙ Alberto Ciani
Alberto is the founder of Punto di Fuga S.a.s. and Wedding Italy. He began working as a wedding and travel consultant at the age of 23 in 1999 and, after many years, he has gathered a wide and deep knowledge of the Italian territory while visiting and contracting the best locations and venues. His passion for the travelling took him abroad many times: he has lived for a year in Chicago and spent different months in England and Ireland. He plays the piano, loves reading and writing. His favourite sports are tennis and running. “I love my country! Italy is the most beautiful in the world” says Alberto and while talking about weddings he adds, “We want to offer only the real Italian emotions, those I know a traveller would love, those I know that make the difference and make an event THE event!” His motto is: “Si puo’ fare! – We can do it”.
